The atmosphere was electric, full of Gratitude and Glamour on Monday, 19th January 2026, as the Shining Stars Mentoring Tribe hosted its highly anticipated Annual Thanksgiving celebration. Held at the prestigious Lagos Marriott Hotel Ballroom, Ikeja, the event brought together the crème de la crème of the Alaga Industry  for a day of reflection, connection, and high-octane celebration.

The theme for this year’s banquet was “Sparkle & Shine,” and attendees did not disappoint. The ballroom was a sea of shimmering outfits and radiant smiles, perfectly capturing the spirit of a tribe that continues to dominate the Nigerian event landscape.

Founded and convened by the renowned Abisola Bamidele (popularly known as Lady BISBAM), the Shining Stars Mentoring Tribe is a dedicated community of Alaga Iduro Alaga Ijoko professionals. The tribe focuses on teaching, encouraging, and pushing its members toward global excellence in the traditional wedding compere industry.

The 2026 Annual thanksgiving of the Shining Stars Alaga Mentoring Tribe must have come and gone, but members were fully imparted to Sparkle & Shine in the year ahead.
